Photographers / Videographers Helping Children. Share Our Passion!

Two years ago, and together with The Rural (a creative camp for photographers and videographers) we founded #theruralsocialproject, and part of the money and the material of this event was donated to different social projects around the world.

We have founded this NGO to create our own projects, taking our passion for photography and videography everywhere, both teaching workshops and with a program of activities with the children.

Children are the weakest and most vulnerable members of society, and they are the future.

The photography and videography collective are willing to share and teach, and to fund projects that help them out on their everyday life: food, medication, houses and above all, education.

Join us!

We want to be a family and we want you to be part of it.

- What do we want to do?

We know how we started all this, where are we now and how strong can we be. So we want to use that strength to keep creating. There’s no doubt that when you join the forces you can make something amazing. We believe it’s essential that #TheRuralWorkshopsFamily lasts all year, now only the days of the event, or a simple hashtag. We want you to get involved with us.We want to take the initiative and develop our own social projects, search for economic support and supervise it.

-How are we doing this?

We want to join social projects, even create ours, or those that you suggest. From now on, everybody will contribute in a small way. We feel it’s important to help out where we can, so part of the ticket price will be donated to a social project. Our philosophy: less is more. It doesn’t make any sense to invest more money on “cool” things for the Rural. We want to run a successful fundraising program through raffles, donations...you can collaborate in many ways. A team can achieve something that one man never could. We have an special point of view of learning, of sharing. We need your help to make things happen. We are a community, a family.

- What can you do?

The Rural is a community, a family. We grow up with you and you're the core of everything we do, and we need you to get involved with us.You just have to be here to help. When you buy your ticket, you're contributing on social projects. Teamwork is essential! So, let us know if you have ideas. Share with us your story, your project, get involved! We do not have limits. Everything is possible. A team, a family, can achieve something that one man or woman never could. What's essential is that we all share one goal. And we work on it from one place: the Rural Family. Any help is welcome. As we told you before there will be raffles, donations, you can donate 1 € or put that camera that you do not use up for auction, or even a one-to-one! We're open to ideas. We are already working with our sponsors: If you want to be at The Rural the must get involved economically or donate products to the social program we choose. The Rural is more than an event of photographers and videographers, this is not all about marketing ... it means to belong to a common project . There's so much power in a group of people that work together towards a shared goal. We'll give you more info about this very soon. THANKS!!
